Wound, Ostomy, & Continence Nurses Society (WOCN)

1. Name of your organization and your current role/title:
Senior Policy Advisor at Polsinelli, representing the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurses Society (WOCN) on the Alliance

2. How long have you been engaged as an Alliance member?
Since 2016

3. What is an example of when the Alliance added value to the wound care space or to your business specifically?
Staying on top of federal regulatory action is always difficult for smaller specialty societies and the Alliance always steps up to make sure we don’t miss anything.

4. What career advice do you live by?
Always assume you can learn something from the person you're having a conversation with.

5. If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?
I would like to shadow a WOCN member at work one day so I can have a true appreciation for the incredible work they do, and also have a better understanding of how policy decisions impact the delivery of health care.

6. What does an ideal day off look like to you?
Golf in the morning, beers at lunch, and a nap in the afternoon.
