Membership Director


Kristen Quinn, PT, DPT

Kristen Quinn serves as the Membership Director for the Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders. She brings over 10 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist serving patients across the continuum of care in multiple HROs, namely at the University of Maryland Medical Center, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and the George Washington University Hospital. She has provided additional clinical support within the Medstar and Inova health systems. Ms. Quinn has served as staff and clinical mentor for numerous clinicians and student physical therapists, serving in a supervisory role which included leading clinical program development, quality improvement, risk assessment, compliance review, and business management projects. Throughout her career, she has been involved in healthcare governance and policy through leadership roles within the American Physical Therapy Association, including as Chief Delegate for the DC Chapter, advocating for patient access to care at the state and national levels. She has a particular interest in, and has supported projects promoting, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the healthcare system.

Ms. Quinn is an adjunct professor at Marymount University, School of Health Sciences Graduate Programs, and at The George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Ms. Quinn earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist and PMI Certified Project Management Professional. She lives in Rockville, MD with her husband and two children.
