Managing Editor of MCG’s Ambulatory Care and Behavioral Health guidelines

Stacey Popko, MD, MBA, is the Managing Editor of MCG’s Ambulatory Care and Behavioral Health guidelines and is responsible for guideline development and production, quality control, and strategic planning. 

Before joining MCG in 2014, she was a Senior Medical Director at Cigna Healthcare where she led programs for onsite health care, disease management, and case management.  Dr. Popko practiced primary care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

 

A graduate of Lehigh University, she received a medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her combined residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in business administration. She is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.
